about
The first single from An Eater's Curse recorded at Precision Studios.
lyrics
Invert the cross of gifted creation. Sever these wretched wings, that I may fall from your grasp. Like the star-aligned mourning came. Weeping at my failure to appease the beast inside you. Ripping flesh exposing structures divine. Carving the weapon to impale your grace.
Trails of the damned, committed to suffering on the planes of existence. Loss of connection only gasps of deprived lungs fill the air. Desecrated lives spread like glass upon this trail. Cold, withering moon. It's shade offered no forgiveness.
The ice of night froze the agony. Spat by the one. Killed for the one. Torn from the one. Subjected to emptiness. My cries meaningless to your mercy. Containment, hate silenced. Sickened hypocrisy. Visions of death consume my soul.
The sight of trickling blood. A storm approaches, hastened. Anthems of rebellion echo through. The ravens ensuing a battle. Leaving death in its wake, nevermore. Father, why hast thou forsaken me forever more?
The coldness of the world welcomes in ravenous winds. Looking up. Clouded by blackened skies. All benevolence fades. Embracing the dusk of souls.

As a musician, I really appreciate the talent, creativity, technicality and brutality that goes in to every song. I'm a big fan of the full albums as well as the instrumental version of Obliteration. Pure Gold!!!!!!!!

Wack to think they somehow went up from here. Just... damn...
its not gonna rip your face off, but its every bit as punchey and hard-hitting as the stuff coming straight out the minds of archspire.
And man them solos. im a real goon when it comes to that stuff, can't dig them, but, its fucking gooey right here, tickling all my brain parts in the perfect way. MyNameIsRedundant

Opens with the best bloody intro in all genres EVER, closes with a song that should be taught at schools at songwriting classes. In between downright otherworldly dialogues between instruments themselves and vocals plus fretless bass that kills.
And it's dissonant. Yeeeahh...
Whoever made it show up in my feed, gratitude. I'm enchanted. YomaBarr
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024

Highly technical without slacking on the groove, and going all over the spectrum of extreme music. A wonderous and lovely listen. Christophorus Andernatus
